Our extrusion line can produce films with a width of 1.6 to 4.5 meters. The number of layers always depends on the final product and is variable and may vary to highly complex structures with up to 11 layers. Therefore, we provide a lot of expertise in extrusion, especially considering the many different raw materials used. When packaging highly perishable fresh food such as meat, cheese or fish, barrier films are irreplaceable. The targeted use of different raw materials in each layer of the multilayer film helps to form an ideal barrier against oxygen, water vapor or external odors. This makes it possible to ensure a long shelf life for fresh foods.
